Sa'Daiziah is a 7th grader from the Raleigh Girls Club and his been involved with Capital City Crew for three years. As a Crew member, she has been able to learn "How to skate and stick handling, as well as leadership! Crew gives you the opportunity to show your leadership skills in practice on and off the ice."

Sa'Daiziah loves Capital City Crew because the coaches are nice, and it's something that he and her girl friends can look forward to every week and do together, "Capital City Crew gets me out of the house and allows me to be involved in a different sport!"

Aaliyah is 13, and has been attending the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County for six years! Although she hasn't been involved in Capital City Crew for as long as some of our other members, she's demonstrated her leadership abilities by being a manger for one year.

As a Crew meber, Aaliyah has learned that "Teamwork makes the dream work! You don't have to be good at every position, as long as you play your part." She loves playing hockey because "It's a completely different sport, and I like ice skating! Hockey is VERY interesting!"

Aaliyah's favorite thing about Capital City Crew is that she's been able to skate and make new friends... including a couple players of the Carolina Hurricanes and Stormy!
